    I am very happy with the coaching and on-going support from Sophie. I had no idea about crypto currencies, what they were, what to do with them and why to take an interest in them.

     

    Sophie provided extremely thorough coaching and practical advice to get me started in something I knew nothing about. Now I feel confident to buy and sell crypto currencies, monitor currencies in the market and make informed choices about which currencies to buy and sell and when.

    Did you have any Crypto Knowledge Before Getting Coaching from Sophie Amat

    No. None at all! I went from being completely crypto ignorant to knowing how to do crypto transactions.

     

    Why Did You Want to Get Started With Crypto?

    My friend used to talk about .dotcoms years ago and say they’re too high risk investments. Look at Google and FB now. I think that when I first heard about Bitcoin, I was intrigued. So when I started to see news here and there about Bitcoin, I wondered, what’s this all about? I had an open mind. I read a few articles and realised that this is another future.

     

    What Have You Learned As A Result of Coaching With Sophie?

    I now also understand the philosophy of crypto; particularly the decentralised aspect of it. I also learned the history about Bitcoin, and how those who don’t have access to bank accounts can still get involved. I’ve learned about the ethics of it. Sophie’s coaching showed me how to set up an account with an exchange, how to fund my exchange account, how to use (soft) crypto wallets, and store my crypto on a hard (cold) wallet. I didn’t know anything about any of this at all before. Nothing whatsoever! I’ve also learned how to manage seed recovery phrases for my wallets, manage my passwords, and transfer crypto between wallets. Sophie got me to read the Bitcoin Whitepaper which sets out the plan for it. It seems ethical. People controlling their own money instead of being robbed. ….. And now. I’m glad that I got involved in Bitcoin. The asset class is volatile, it goes up and down. However, I’m optimistic about having a position in the market.

     

    Advantages of Bitcoin and Crypto

    The big advantage to Bitcoin and crypto is that they’re easy to top up or to withdraw. Very easy! I was happy to know I could start out with a small investment. I didn’t have to buy one whole Bitcoin to get in the market. I’m leaving what I have in there and I’m happy about that. You’ll be able to buy an electric car! It’s easier than having gold. It’s much less hassle!

    Hi Sophie – just want to give you a shout-out for the great Onboarding into Crypto course you just ran. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I already had some knowledge of crypto (owning a few different coins) but I really wanted to do more than “throwing paint at the wall and seeing what sticks” !!


    I had several of my friends on the course and it was great to see how quickly they picked up concepts and ran with them.
     
    For me, the best day was the 3rd part on Fundamentals. It really is a whole new language but you explain it very well. I feel I have come away with a much better understanding on how to research what is happening in the market and how to make more informed decisions.

    I just wanted to say a big thank you to Sophie for inspiring me to fire up my enthusiasm for the crypto-currency world and guiding me through my journey. You were very helpful, kind, patient and respectful, and courageous to deal with such different levels.
    Though I had some (limited) knowledge and experience, I would say that my level is of a ‘beginner.’ There was a lot in the course that was challenging and a steep learning curve. It is still a new language for me which takes time to understand, speak and be able to use. It was fun, exciting and rewarding.

    At the time of being introduced to Sophie I had absolutely zero understanding of cryptocurrency. Whenever people tried to speak to me about it I felt like my brain was about to melt down..
    Sophie was able to go slowly and gently enough for my brain to actually catch a grip. After the first class with her I felt like I ACTUALLY had SOME understanding of the crypto currency world, and by the end of the third class I had managed to buy myself some 🤩.
    With the base understanding Sophie brought me to, I can now engage in conversations with other people about crypto, and not feel completely lost and overwhelmed
